Sue is the owner and clinician of the Believing in Kids & Families. She has over twenty years of experience helping people. She earned her Master’s of Social Work in 1993 and Master’s of Science in Psychology in 1999.

Sue believes in the strength and determination of the human spirit. She has assisted and witnessed people heal from experiences in their lives. Sue has assisted people in relationship enhancement, renewing their sense of self through transitions occurring in their lives, managing stress, approaching life from a holistic perspective, resolution of traumatic experiences, conflict resolution within families, addressing sensory processing issues, addressing parenting issues and concerns, substance abuse recovery, grief and loss resolution, anger management, addressing anxiety-related concerns, and addressing learning and behavioral issues.

Sue provides play therapy, individual therapy, teen and women support groups, family and couples counseling with the vision of helping each person rediscover their strengths so they may experience peaceful living and improved personal relationships. She comes from a relationship, strength-based, and nonjudgmental approach with those she serves.  She is currently licensed in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Sue has experience with unique and diverse multi-cultural ethnic groups.  She serves people from varying life stages.  Her experience and training permits her to conceptualize situations and circumstances in a variety of ways, as well as assist people in accessing resources.  Please contact Sue at (303) 794-7008 ext. 1 to discuss counseling services.
